Ruo Hsin Wu is a London-based Taiwanese painter, illustrator and animator. She holds a BA in Animation from Taipei National University of the Arts and a MA in Visual Communication from Royal College of Art. Her work is primarily drawing-based, using both traditional and digital mediums. In her practice, she uses storytelling as a tool to create empathetic communication, transforming a personal or social issue into intimate experiences for viewers. Her drawings have been shortlisted for V&A Illustration Award 2020. Her films have also been screened at many film festivals around the world.
