Lizard

Pencil on Paper, 26*27cm, 2018

A lizard sought shelter to warm herself. She slipped into a boy's cuff. She crawled up his arm with sharp little claws. Then, the lizard stopped moving when she felt the boy's shiver, because she didn't mean to disturb him. She is just a poor lizard who needs some warmth. When she gently lay down on the boy's arm, his compassion replaced his fear. His kindness and love flowed through her cold lizard blood, and warmed her tiny body up. The boy gave the lizard warmth, and he received the same warmth from the lizard as well.
