The Sound of Memoy
2020 | 5.18An animation that explores issues around dementia based on my own childhood memories. It aims to re-examine meanings of time, perception and relationships with physical surroundings for those who suffer with dementia.
In the film, I weave fragments of memory and poetic observations of everyday details with research into dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, to explore the effects of ordinary moments within the deterioration of memory.
《記憶的聲音》是一部基於阿茲海默症與老人癡呆症主題的非線性動畫，結合創作者童年記憶的探索，以及對日常時刻的微妙感受與懷戀。透過描繪記憶喪失的過程，重新審視我們與時間、過往經驗與周圍環境的關係。
